Then, it’s just a simple swipe back up to continue reading. Or, now with SnipNotes, I could simply copy the text, swipe down the Today view in Notifications, and click save on the SnipNotes widget. For example, “ the old way” while I am reading something in Safari and find it to be something I want to keep, I could close Safari, open notes, paste the copied content, and then go back to reading. SnipNotes is more for using the Clipboard to save items in a notepad without having to jump out of whatever app or page you are copying from. I don’t have it set to keep everything because that would slow my machine down to a crawl with how much I copy/paste in one day. With Copied, I know everything I copy will be on each of my devices. ![]() Because they both use the clipboard, I ended up trying to justify dumping one for the other when they have similar purposes but since the work differently for me, I figured I can keep both. ![]() This is why I was convinced that SnipNotes would not fit into my current workflow.Īfter testing out SnipNotes for a few days, I found that I could use both my current Clipboard manager, Copied, and SnipNotes together. SnipNotes is actually billed as an intelligent note-taking app, but when you really dive into it, the main function of the app is saving content copied to the clipboard. Fortunately, there is no shortage of clipboard managers for iOS.
